Is it possible to Dy dark brown hair to very light blond if you bleach it first?

Best left to a pro....That is why we get the megabucks you are likely to make yourself unhappy and then pay a pro to fix it

Is it possible to Dy dark brown hair to very light blond if you bleach it first?

It would be best to dye your hair in graduations. Like go up some in shades of light brown/dark blonde , then go to light blond.

Is it possible to Dy dark brown hair to very light blond if you bleach it first?

yes! i just died mine back though due to horrendus upkeep.

at home kits work....

but it takes about 3 boxes over the period of one months.

a professional can do it in an hour,

Is it possible to Dy dark brown hair to very light blond if you bleach it first?

ya i just bleached my hair from black to really light blonde in one sitting. it took about.. a little over an hour. but some peoples hair doesn't bleached as well as others. but definitely go to a professional!

I have dirty blond hair should i get darker or lighter highlights? and which colors?

Get caramel and honey highlights. Then you'll have a lot of depth and it will look so cute!

I have dirty blond hair should i get darker or lighter highlights? and which colors?

Dark is a fad. GO for the highlights

I have dirty blond hair should i get darker or lighter highlights? and which colors?

It depends... do you want big change or little change? I think it will look better with darker highlights... maybe a brunette colour. But many people choose to use lighter blonde highlights as it stands out more... but make sure your blonde isn't TOO light... sort of blondish- brown if you know what i mean.

I have dirty blond hair should i get darker or lighter highlights? and which colors?

it depends on if you want to give a lighter appearance to your hair or a darker appearance. In my opinion i would say go lighter. Different blondes together are so pretty.

I have dirty blond hair should i get darker or lighter highlights? and which colors?

my bestfriend has dirty blonde hair and she got highlights that are lighther

Lighter- Get Hardcore Platinum blonde ones

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

I wouldn't do either. It will be hard to get either color out completely and they may fade into colors you don't want. Also, will it be out in time for school next year? Please consider all aspects.

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

blue would look much better than red so i would say blue

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

I used to have blue, pink, green, and red. If your more "punk" I would go w/blue. If your just someone looking for a change do red.

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

Red will be easier to get back normal in the long run if you decide to change.

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

Id have to say blue but do it on the underneath hairs so not everyone can see. Its not 1985 you know,

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

I say red.

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

Do you have blue eyes? then blue would be nice and it goes with blonde more!

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

I'd start by considering what colors you wear the most, and find something that contrasts nicely with them. In my personal opinion, red tends to clash with a lot of other colors, and if you do decide to change it, it's pretty tough to pull out of your hair. Maybe I'm just a fan of the color blue, but I'd go with that. On the bad side, depending on what blue you use, I heard some tend to fade to a grey-ish color. :[

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

Neither.

Do PINK !

My friend did it, it was awesome.

I want to put bold stripes in my hair. Should I do blue or red? My hair is a natural dark blond.?

RED RED AND RED! red makes blondes look mch prettier blue makes em look eh lets just say a bit gothic

I have dirty blond hair what color highlight/ low lights should i get? I need to colors.?

--isabella*

I have dirty blond hair what color highlight/ low lights should i get? I need to colors.?

Do your hair into thee layers the first and third your natural hair color and the middle anice not to white blonde.

If not try alight redish brownish for the first and third layer. It looks nice.

I have dirty blond hair what color highlight/ low lights should i get? I need to colors.?

If you have a dirty blond maybe some copper or auburn colors would be pretty as lowlights and a sprinkle of golden blond to give a nice warmth to you face. Check this website out you can experiment with all the colors to see what suits you.

Can you get me the way to change my hair color from black to blond?

Two words Hair Salon

Can you get me the way to change my hair color from black to blond?

My mom went from black to super light blond she did it by going to the SALON and they BLEACHED it.

Can you get me the way to change my hair color from black to blond?

You will need a two-step process done, because your starting out with dark hair. The first process removes all color from your hair. The second process would put the blonde in. It has to be done at a salon.

Can you get me the way to change my hair color from black to blond?

You've got to bleach it out. You shouldn't have done black, that is so hard to lift from your hair.

Your best bet is to go to a hair salon and get it done.

Please, go to a hair salon.

I have died blond hair with brown eyes and a fair complection, I want to achieve a cat eye look with eyeliner(

The cat eye look is effective when you have light colored eyes. Try getting a lighter colored contact lenses, such as grey or anything with blueish tint. Then use a liquid eye-liner to line the entire area of the eyes, both upper and lower lids. Make sure the corners meet.

To accentuate the look, apply some white or light blue highlights close to the brow bone.

I have died blond hair with brown eyes and a fair complection, I want to achieve a cat eye look with eyeliner(

Your hair color, eye color, and complexion are irrelevant, but here are some techniques.

Brown powder eyeshadow applied with a pointy eyeshadow brush used to define the crease and under the eye. Blend edges, but maintain intensity in the crease area.

Black liquid liner is the signiture of the 'Diva' look. Aplly liner as close as possible extending well past the outer lash. Liner should follow a straight line outward, not up or down.

I'm looking at a picture of the results and the model, who happens to be Barbra Striesand, has the egyptian eye look you seem to be talking about.

When you try this technique, take it slow. It make take a few practice times before you become comfortable. I know this from personal experience.

I have died blond hair with brown eyes and a fair complection, I want to achieve a cat eye look with eyeliner(

I've done this..in fact people used to say I had cat eyes. The easiest and best thing I've found is to get a real soft long lasting eyeliner...my pick is Revlon's Colorstay in Black. Now pulling from the outside corner of your eye to stretch out your lid..start in the upper low corner down near where your eyelid ends near your nose side. first makes a thinner slow and full even streak tracing along the eyelid as close to the bottom near the lashes work your way out toward the outside of your lid...after you pass midway over your lid turn your eyeliner pencil to get just a tad thicker line going and finally bring it out just a bit past your lash line and into a thin sharp line past the outside of your eyelid...softly color the inside of your lid and then run it across the (inside) of your bottom lid, try to keep it dry..this eyeliner will not burn or clump up on your eyeball at all so don't worry...It may take a bit of practice..but this is the secret to the cat eye look ;) Pamela

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is y

i dyed my hair black a year ago, since then i let my natural hair (dirty blonde) grow out, i just bleached my whole head and got 1/2 yellow half blonde, then i went and bought a little darker blonde color and put that on after the bleach BUT my top half is blonde and the bottom is like a dark blonde. WTF i want it all one color w/o bleaching it again. HELP

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

Buy an ASH blonde hair dye. Light ash blonde would be the best color. Then Shampoo it with Clairol shimmer lights shampoo. It will take the yellow brassy color out.

Here is what I use....

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

Visit a good salon. their dyes are much better than the ones you buy.

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

Go to a salon. It's expensive getting it done professionally, but its worth it because they know what they're doing.

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

Black is the hardest color to get rid of once you apply it to your hair. You will probably have to apply a color remover to the bottom half of your hair before you try applying an all over color again.

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

Go to a salon..........You have already done what you could do with out the knowledge you need to complete this. Make sure you tell the stylist what you have already done. When you do a corrective hair color all you should have done was the black hair and not the new growth as this would have done what you wanted with the new color but since you tampered with it (the new growth) you will now need two different formulas to succeed. Not being able to see and feel your hair no one can lead you into the right direction.

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

The reason you probably have two different colors is the top half is (was) your natural color and the bottom half is still growing out the old color. You could get a semi-permanent dye like Natural Instincts in as close a shade as you can to match the bottom half of your hair and put it only on the top. That way you will have all one color hair. You may have to touch it up a few times until you get all the old color grown out, but at least it should all be one color. Good luck! (Just out of curiosity, where do you live that hair color costs $1200?) Do NOT use an ash dye--putting ash on blonde hair turns green!

How do i get ALL blonde hair, after having black hair a year ago? top 1/2 is blond, bottom half is yellow!?

Wow, I don't think very many people would want to help you if you call them morons...eesh...I was thinking of telling you the wrong thing to do, but I won't because I am a nice person and a hairdressing student who HATES to see people walk around with bad hair.

I'm guessing the yellowy part was the bottom half, correct? And then you bought another blond a little darker? That only made each part a little darker therefore you still notice the difference. The only thing that you can really do is to bleach the darker part again, because color cannot lighten color, so your two choices are to bleach the darker half or darken the lighter half to the darker half. When you bleached your whole head, all you really had to do was to add a light blond dye with some violet tones in it to cut the yellow out.

I need this piccture here to have the hair color changed from the blond to blue or purple?

In photoshop, trace the area around the hair only, make a layer copy of it, apply a hue change or even a photo filter, use an opacity blend to dissolve the coloured hair onto the original layer, feather the edges slightly if needed, flatten image, and "wallah."

That will be $75 please!

Can you please tell me how to achieve a playful sexy look for my hair I have just past the shoulders

hair? I would like to achieve this with a curling iron, root lifter, ect, and blow dryer can you please help me?Thank you all in advance

Can you please tell me how to achieve a playful sexy look for my hair I have just past the shoulders blond?

Get a bigger sized curling iron and add some loose waves in it. It's kind of that messy chic look thats in right now!

Can you please tell me how to achieve a playful sexy look for my hair I have just past the shoulders blond?

after you blow dry your hair - if it blow dries straight then spray it with hairspray and stick your fingers in it and puff it out kinda like the messy bed look - also there is a curling iron that is like 2 curling irons in one that makes your hair wavy - it looks like a really big crimper - crimp you hair in 2 inch sections and start from the scalp and go down then spray it with moose or hair spray and scrunch -then you have sexy wavy hair - if you have anymore questions i have lots of ideas!! just message or email me !! Good Luck!!

Can you please tell me how to achieve a playful sexy look for my hair I have just past the shoulders blond?

Okay, you might need one more thing. try Garnier Fructis Style SURF HAIR texturizing spray. (around $4 at a department store) Then (from the back of the bottle it says)

*Tousled Tendrils : Apply to slightly damp hair, twirl pieces of hair around fingers in rope-like fashion, and blow dry by piece. Leave in twirls or separate with fingers.

My hair is really long but this stuff still works really good!

Good luck!

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

I am male. My hair is an inch and a half above the shoulders. I just brush it now, no gel or anything. How do I messy look it?

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

Go to your hair dresser and ask him/her to "razor" your hair. This keeps the ends nice and fresh. Then take some gel or extra strong moose and run your fingers through it and get wild! Sitting on a chair and flipping your hair over is the best way to get that messy, sexy look.

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

Maybe put some gel in it while it is a little damp and mess your hands throught it. Let it hair dry.

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

Wash your hair and leave it wet then apply light clear styling gel on your fingertips and run it though your hair out and massage the gel in to give it a messy spiky look.

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

The best way to do it is to use mousse. I know it sounds stupid but it works for the whole messy sexy thing that girls love. And, it doesn't harden in your hair as badly as gel does. Run about a dime sized through your hair after a shower and towel it dry.

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

take some spritz or holding spray and rattail comb and start teasing your hair. thats basically what you have to do.

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

Well Hun first you have to get to no what kinds of things your hair can take (chemicals, heat,) If you want curls you should try a west Indian store where black people go for there hair stuff look around for something that you might like. Try different things out and get back to me i want to no how it went.

Thanks for the question Hun

Crystal

How can I make my hair the messy look? It is long, sandy blond, parted in the middle.?

get pomade and run it through the ends of your hair

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Black natural and red!!!

black coz its thick... silky, bouny, shiny, and nicely coloured

red coz its unique, followed with freckeles, bright, %26amp;%26amp;love that auburn shade

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Black natural hair...

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

BLACK!

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

they are all great colors.the most common though is blonde and brown

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

I like natural redheads and brunettes the best.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Nothing is "better" but i like brown

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

i think brown hair is because it look more heather then blonde looks fake in red in black is just ugly

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

In my opinion, natural is always better. You can add highlights if you like, but you can always tell if someone is dying their hair an unnatural color.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

brown -- you can have any kind of complexion and any color eyebrows -- plus it's hot

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Natural

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

what ever you have is the best! that is something you don't have a choice on unless it comes from a bottle.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Black's pretty and so is blonde. Brown tends to look dull sometimes...just my opinion. And natural red usually comes along with freckles.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

depends on the person. i know this seems like a lame answer, but its true, because what hair color looks good on a person depends on their skin tone and their features, so you can't really pick just one hair to color to look good on everyone....

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

All of them are great, but if you like to color your hair yourself it is better to be blone becuase you can change your hair color to any of the other colors by yourself. I have black hair and I like it but I can only go to brown by myself otherwise I have to go and get it bleached and then put color on it.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Well it depends what you look like. Like if you have dark skin and naturally black hair thats really pretty but if you're medium skin toned, blonde or brunette looks good. It really all depends on your race and skin tone

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

for my preference in the opposite sex, jet black. It's something I find extremely sexy, especially if its set up with some sweet light eyes. But jet black all the way. My self I naturally have a mix of brown and light brown, but still .. lol that Jet black is attractive

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Natural is always the best. Fate dealth you the best color for your skintone, personality, eye color. You can't mess with that! Mother nature is never wrong.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

natrual hair because if u dye ur hair thats damging it

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Better for what? Generally speaking, one's natural hair color is best for their skin tones. If you like changing colors often, having naturally blonde hair is probably the easiest to work with. Any natural hair color that is shiny and healthy is attractive. By the same token, any hair color, natural or dyed, that is not shiny and healthy is not likely to be attractive.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

I would have to Say that natural black is the best

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

i dont think anyone hair is better then the other. I think you might be asking if you should die your hair a certain colour or leave it natural.

I personally as a guy prefer natural hair colour on a female, im not a fan of fake die jobs.

if i had to pick a fav hair colour on a female, i think personally i would pick blonde if i had to pick!

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

blond can get kinda non-blonde b/c of the VERRY high probabilty of brown highlights-doesnt get as shiny. Black hair gets MARVLOUSLY shiny thick and luxuriously lustrous-like an azn with a magic straight(which makes your hair super think shiny and straight) of course...then again...i might be a bbbbiiit biased cuz i m a natural raven(black hair)

Lastly and leastly-red hair gets soooo thin and cant get shiny or thick unless you drench it in goo and chemicals,,,and even then it looks terrible-it doesnt hold the capabilities of brunettes and black hair...

Brunettes are my second favorite-there hair gets pretty close to anyting-if you style it correctly and treat it good it can get really pretty:)

btwwwww.......no suh thing as natural black hair-not evn asians -i know wutta disappointment...ppl with back hair get it from chemical dyes-ive met over 300 asians in my life and theyre all VERY dark bruettes that looks like black-i know samme dif but w/e.

REd hair looks like it comes from a koolaid packet-or disgusting cherry tylenol

0.o i wrote a lot-usually i just SQUEAK FOR POINTS

just for good measure....

squeakity squeakin sqeakers

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

I love brunettes...

there usually tends to be more natural high lights %26amp; low lights.

also dark blondes =]

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

its good to try new stuff, but to show the curls of your natural hair, i will recommend a lighter shade of your natural color, something the complements your skin tone. you'll know it when you see it. if still unsure, ask ppl arround you.

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

Has to be blonde because everyone wants it (that hair color). My real color is brown but I am always shooting for blonde. Blondes have more fun?? Who knows, but it sure is fun blaming my mistakes on being blonde!! :)

Whats better blond, brown, red or black NATURAL hair?

natural hair cuz dont u want ppl to no U the way you are?!

I have dark blond hair with black eyes and my skin tone is like light medium .?

what king of eye shadow and color foundation would look good on me?and what kind of color clothes?

I have dark blond hair with black eyes and my skin tone is like light medium .?

Depending on your skin tone, the make-up you choose will need to flatter your face and hair. If you apply the wrong colours, you閳ユ獧e not doing yourself a favour -- and you can look all washed out, or overdone. Play up your features with the best make-up colours, tints and hues for your skin tone.

Make-up for Fair Skin

If you閳ユ獧e fair-skinned, sheer colours look best on you. Apply light earth tones and soft pastels, such as blue and lavender to accent your eyes.

Various shades of pink will look good on your eyes, cheeks and lips. Keep your mascara to brown or brown/black. Light, sheer lipstick adds a finishing touch. Peach is always a good choice for our fair-skinned friends, it looks natural and compliments your skin colour.

Medium Toned Skin

Your warmer completion gives you many options for a fabulous makeover. Being 閳ユ笅n-between閳?does have its benefits. Deep matter earth tones and jewel colours such as hunter green, dark grey, beige and brown will accent your eyes. Coral and plumb colours work good to accentuate your cheekbones.

Experiment with your lip colour. Your skin tone is very versatile and if you閳ユ獧e brunette, anything from pink to red will look great on you. Top it off with lip gloss for extra staying power. Bronzing powder dusted over your forehead, nose and cheeks will give you the ultimate sun-kissed look.

Make-up for Dark Skin

You may need a heavier hand when applying make-up to dark skin -- but you need to choose the right shades. For eye shadow, gray, brown and natural shades will compliment your eyes. Also try shimmer colours such as silver, bronze, and terra-cotta. Experiment with mascara colours such as navy and dark purple.

For blush, more pigment for darker skin is a must. Deep rose and apricot shades highlight your cheekbones beautifully. Sometimes, a bronze highlighter does the trick. Stay away from anything with a strong orange base as this will not flatter your skin.

Dark lip colour such as apricot, blackberry, caramel and red will compliment your lips.

Olive and Ethnic Skin Tones

With your darker skin tone, neutral shades as well as dark purple and blue will look great on your eyes. Metallic colours also look remarkable, as long as the shades remain darker.

Highlight your cheekbones with bronzing powder, dark plum, chestnut, or terra-cotta blush. Keep the tones natural and avoid anything too light.

Lipstick shades that will bring out your lips are berry, plum, russet, or almond. Avoid 閳ユ涪rue閳?reds, they will clash with your skin tone.

Determine Your Skin Tone

Instructions

STEP 1: Decide which season most accurately describes your complexion. People - and skin tones - can be divided into "seasons," depending on their skin tone.

STEP 2: "Winter" complexions have blue or pink undertones. Skin can be pale white, yellowish-olive, or dark. Winter people are generally brunettes, with deeply colored eyes. Many Asians and African Americans fall into this category.

STEP 3: "Summer" complexions, like winter complexions, have blue or pink undertones. Skin is pale and pink. Summers are often natural blondes or brunettes with pale eyes.

STEP 4: "Autumn": Autumn complexions have golden undertones. Many redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes fall into this category.

STEP 5: "Spring": Spring complexions have golden undertones and are usually creamy white or peach. Spring people generally have straw-colored or strawberry red hair, freckles, rosy cheeks, and blue or green eyes.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

It is often difficult to discriminate summer from winter, and autumn from spring. Remember that winters are usually brunettes while summers can be natural blondes. Springs tend to have pale eyes while autumns have dark eyes.

Instructions

STEP 1: "Winter": Winters should wear colors that are sharp, stark and clear. White, black, navy blue, red and shocking pink all go well with winter complexions. For lighter colors, wear icy tones rather than pastels. Avoid subdued tones like beige, orange and gold.

STEP 2: "Summer": Summers should choose pastels and soft neutrals with rose and blue undertones. Lavender, plum, rose-brown and soft blue suit summers well while black and orange do not.

STEP 3: "Autumn": Autumns should select colors with golden undertones, like camel, beige, orange, gold and dark brown. Avoid colors with blue tones, like navy.

STEP 4: "Spring": Springs can wear warm colors like camel, peach, golden yellow and golden brown. Avoid dark, dull colors.

Do you want to know What Not to Wear? Determine your body type

The Hourglass is the most sought after body shape. Lucky Hourglasses have perfectly proportioned upper and lower halves with a well defined waist. Their only flaw? If they gain weight, they have a tendency to gain it all over the body.

The Pear has wider hips than shoulders. She usually has a small top-half with an enviable flat stomach, but her lower half overcompensates with sizeable hips and a couple of saddlebags. When she gains weight, she has a tendency to gain it below the waist.

The Apple is frequently bigger on top than on the bottom. On the plus side, an Apple has the slim hips a Pear would die for. On the other side, she might have a big belly and a flat bum. When Apples gain weight, they have a tendency to gain it above the waist.

The Ruler is a rare shape, indeed. Without a great difference between the waist and hips, a Ruler is waif-like and slim. If she gains weight, she will probably gain it in the stomach and butt, while her arms and legs stay thin.

For hourglass shapes, jean I think it's important to give yourself some height with a nice medium heeled shoe. Lengthen your look in skirts and pants. Place the emphasis on your top with a lower necked tops - or nice crisp white shirts with(or without) bright pullovers matched to darker colored bottoms. I felt I was looking in a mirror. I've a similiar figure.

Good luck.

Also, as for pants, don't go too high on the waist- mid rise is better. Skirts with a handkerchief hem. Jackets with side vents, not too short or too long, no big shoulder pads, maybe collar-less? Shirt collars either scoop, deep V or open to shoulder points. With that wonderful dark hair, play with colors! Purple! Cobalt! Emerald! maybe some layers in the hair for swing. Have fun!

As always, the first piece of advice is to get a good bra fitting, and get something that picks you up. Right now, it looks like breasts are leaning on the belly a bit. A good bra will fix that, and your stomach will look smaller.

In the swimsuit, from the front, you have a well-defined waist. I'd go for more wrap/surplice tops that skim over the tummy a bit, and hide it while you try to lose more weight. The alternative is something fitted over the bosom, and looser over the abs.

Try a more flared jean, rather than one so ankle-hugging. The extra width will balance out everything above it. Also, perhaps something absolutely flat-fronted--a side or back zip rather than a jean.

A slightly lower neckline will make you look a little more refined because you won't be one solid block of color across what looks like wide shoulders.

For pear shapes, A great pair of bootcut pants/jeans that sit on the hip with a great crisp white top would look great on you! Although you have height, it wouldn't hurt to wear a shoe with a bit more heel. It elongates the legs and makes them look slimmer. I am so glad you are ready to make some much needed changes! You go girl!

For apple shapes. The most success I have had in making small changes is with the v-neck tops and 3/4" sleeves in a color I love. The tops have just a subtle same-color pattern. Plain skirts that flare at the knee provide distraction.

Oh, and adding an appropriate pin on the chest seems to pull the eye away from the belly!

Finally, I have been paying more attention to shoes. Finding a match that adds to the overall balance.

For ruler shapes. A casual style that has been enhanced by more color and an overall sharper more defined casual look.Once again T%26amp;S talked about not overselling the rules, and letting each person's essence come through.Coupled with the rules this is a winning combination. This may be the greatest challenge- going by the rules and retaining one's essence without disregarding the rules.I agree that everyone need's cloths that are just comfy and fashion isn't always queen.

For more info on what to wear ck it out on the show 'what not to wear' or even their website. good luck

I have dark blond hair with black eyes and my skin tone is like light medium .?

i can't imagine clothes on you after that HOT description!

I have dark blond hair with black eyes and my skin tone is like light medium .?

Can't go wrong with natural animal colors, and if you match your hair and/or eyes.

I have dark blond hair with black eyes and my skin tone is like light medium .?

I would say... light blue or any kind of blue for that matter would bring out your eyes and blend well with your hair.

I have dark blond hair with black eyes and my skin tone is like light medium .?

clothes: brighter colors pinks, light blues as for makeup i think shimmery light browns and light pinkish lip gloss would look good with dark brown or black eyeliner and black mascara

I have dyed dark brown hair, would like dark blond, using bleach, i do not want any red , is this po

No, unless you get highlghts where the red isnt notacible. I have just lightened my dark brown dyed hair using bleach and it went a red/orange colour, i then used a light ash brown hair dye (ash takes out the red/orange) and my hair is a lovely light brown with no red. Next, now that my hair isnt too dark for it, i will have highlights done to take my light brown to a dark to med blonde colour. Garnier Nutrisse Creme and Garnier Belle Colour both do ranges of pre lightning and a selection of colours to put on after. Unfortunately anything darker than medium brown hair will have a lot of red in it, red is the hardest to remove so sometimes it is not an over night thing to achieve a much lighter colour.

I have dyed dark brown hair, would like dark blond, using bleach, i do not want any red , is this possible?

It is possible but certainly not in one sitting. Try to do it all at once and you will go orange/red.

Its best to ask your hairdresser to do a full head of foils, which will lighten it up more and more each time.

There is no other way around it and if you try to do it in one hit, you will end up severely damaging your hair and looking like a pumkin!

What hair style would look nice for light brownish blond hair?

plz give segestions :). I need them lol. i need a new style, lol and thnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnxxxxxxxxx!!!!

What hair style would look nice for light brownish blond hair?

It's not about the hair color. Hair color compliments your skin tone but does nothing for the hairstyle really... it's about the shape of your face. I would pick up some hairstyle magazines and pick a couple I really like on people with the same or similar face shapes and take the photos to the hair dresser so she can see exactly what you are looking for. Don't go with out the photos!!!!

What hair style would look nice for light brownish blond hair?

side part and straight to the shoulder with a wispy side bang. It will show off your brownish blond hair. Or straight down to a little flip. Great look.

What hair style would look nice for light brownish blond hair?

Not enough info. What shape is your face? Is your nose an awning for your feet in the rain? Are your ears fly?

Go to a salon that specializes in trendy cuts and styles...bring lots of cash or plastic. You and your stylist should collaborate and find something new that you can manage yourself except for your hair cuts.

It's worth it.

Try dying it a strawberry blonde color or even a natural red color. Typically people with those hair colors are pale too. I, myself, am pale and have dyed my hair a reddish/brown color. I hope this helps.

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

I have black hair that has mostly faded back to my natural brown its a lighter brown but still is predominately black still. I want to go blonde so what kind of kit would I get to bleach it I dont want to go to a salon or whatever and how much would a kit cost thanks...

cheers

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

Please don't attempt this yourself... For starters, you don't know how porous your hair is and how long it will take for the black to be lifted from the hair, there is absolutely no way your hair is all going to lift to the same tone of blonde, your roots will turn the desired shade, your mid lengths may reach an orange and your ends may not lift at all. leaving you with very damaged uneven colour and the if you try to dye it back it will turn green. I am a professional colour technician so this is just some free advise......

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

buy a Jerome Russel Bleach kit off of Ebay

i paid $15 for mine, that includes shipping as well, which was only 5 bucks.

it works good.

=)

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

GO TO A SALON. They can do it right and it won't fry your hair as bad. Have it professionally done so your hair doesn't fall out as bad

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

I've bleached my hair from black to blonde, by the way, it RUINS your hair. i would advise going to a salon or just letting it grow out to all natural hair THEN dyeing it.

But to bleach it right now, you can just go to the store and by a kit, it costs about 15-25 bucks.

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

There is a bleach kit at sally beauty supply called "Blonde Brilliance". I believe it's about $7. This kit comes with a cap if you want to put highlights in.

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

umm... you can go to a salon and have them strip the black color out... but i think that is expensive... but it would work best for dying it blonde

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

ooh you will probably go orange or at best yellow its not the bleach its all in the toneing you would be best to go to a salon but if you dont and risk it or take another advice well---- i told you so----

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

You can get a bleach that will take all the colour out for about 鎷? or 鎷? - you will then need to use a colour to get what hair colour you want to achieve (again about 鎷? - 鎷?) - Try Superdrug, Boots or Wilkinsons (Or your local chemist or supermarket)

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

It is really really really hard to go from black to blonde. I dont know how much of your hair is black but if it is the majority of your hair, it probably won't work and will come out a strange color. Honestly, I would see a proffessional or wait it out, and I know you hate hearing that but it is the best thing you can do or you can really mess up your hair. It is worth it in the end because you save more money because you won't be fixing your mistake like you will be after you try to dye it again with cheap products. Trust me I know this from my own experience, lets just say my hair color has ranged from natural blonde to dyed blonde to dyed blonde again only this time it turned orange! oops!

I Have dyed black hair that has faded and want to go blond?

Go to rite-aid or cvs they have em for 7 dollars just for men products.

I think various shades of pink, purple, grey, gold with a darker shade of green would be pretty.

I have light blond hair with lighter highlights. I want to go back to light brown. Will it turn out

well...i have numerous friends who lately have been going from blonde to brunette. let me tell you it looks really good the first few days or maybe even week or two if they are lucky. after that it kind of fades, the starts to show through, and even a few of my friends hair has actually looked brownish green; not so cute. lol. but i would reccomend getting a box and doing it yourself or having a friend do it for you, the few friends who's color faded after a week or two got it done professionally and it wasn't as dark as they wanted it to be in the first place. one of my friends got it done twice professionally, was not happy with it, decided to use a box and although it still is faded a little bit, it looked a lot better than when she got it done professionally. i'm not saying don't go and get it done professionally, by all means give it a try, but doing it yourself from a box is cheaper. just make sure if a friend does it that they really really read the directions first or they have done it before!!good luck!!=)

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

what self tanning products would be good to use? Used to go to the tanning bed, but skin cancer runs in my family, BIG TIME. JERG**S seems to make my face break out..

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

Just a question biker chick, why did you report me?

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

There are spray on tanning salons you could look into.

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

DO NOT EVER EVER NEVER GO INTO A TANNING BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL HURT YOUR SKIN AND WHEN YOU ARE OLDER YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE ANY! TALK TO A DOCTOR ABOUT IT OR START COLORING YOUR HAIR ABURN OR SOMETHING!!!!!!!!! OR WHATEVER JUST DON'T GO IN A TANNING BED ARE YOU NUTS?!?!?!? YOU SHOULD SEE SOME OF MY FRIENDS! THEY ARE BURT LIKE NUTS AND I THEY ARE ONLY 13!

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

Does the rug match the drapes ??

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

i also have fair skin and i havent found any self tanning products that work for me, they always turn my skin an orangish color instead of tan. But if you find one that doesnt do choose it as a best answer so i can try it myself.

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

You can go for spray tans, that's ok for your skin. The tanning creams that seem to work well are brand names: Marcelle and Estee Lauder. Go for the spray tan though, it's safe and the professionals know what they're doing.

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

The jergens and olay self tanning lotions are good because they gradually build up a tan, which is crucial for us fair skinned gals (we can look orange way too easily). I also like orgins' one for the face, but I would suggest using the face ones at night only.

I have naturally blond hair, blue eyes..which means fair skin..?

Hi Biker Chick

long term use of sun in a can is dreadful for your skin. Be natural put a factor 35 on your skin and enjoy the sun best to walk in it rather laying it.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

You should really go to a color specialist before you damage your hair anymore

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

There's this stuff called COLOR OOPS, its sold at WalMart.

Look into it

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

You could buy Color Zap. It takes all of the dye out of your hair and leaves it ready for you to re-dye it. I wouldn't do that, though. It can be damaging to the hair, and it sounds like yours is already damaged enough. If it's semi-permanent, you could wash your hair a bunch of times with hot water?

Also, I'm not sure if this strips the color from your hair or just lightens it, but you could try washing your hair with Prell shampoo or Head %26amp; Shoulders.

If it bothers you that much, then go to a Salon. I'd honestly leave it alone, since it'll eventually wash out.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

Buy some Color Oops from Wal-mart. Also next time you color, try a color with a red tone in to prevent the green. Words like warm or golden are good indicators. Also, most at home hair colors, have an 800 number help line. Call them.. they give good advice.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

You can try using laundry detergent- the powder kind. When you go from a ligh to dark- it is going to turn a nice shade of green. Oh yea- you may need to wash a couple of times to notice a difference.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

lol guess you learnt not to colour at home..dats wat hair dressers are for.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

You should really go to a professional to have this done. However, if you TRULY can't afford it, go buy another color that will be the same level you aready have (level 10 being light blonde- level 1 being black) in a red shade. Green + Red= Brown. Again, anything sold over the counter can go REALLY wrong, so please see into having this done at a salon. You will also need to purchase some professional color retention shampoo to keep the color from fading out quickly. Good luck.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

Ok, go to boots or superdrug (with a hat maybe) and just buy a bleach and dye your hair back blonde

Then go to a salon if you still want to be brunette

Or... you could try working the green look, maybe it will work for you =P

xxx

Ps. Apparently, soaking your hair in tomato juice also removes hair colour

Don't know if that works though

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

Put a hat on, nip down to asda or tesco and get a dark brown dye (get two if you have long hair) and put that on, the green should go.

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

Yeah, you can add brown, just stop with the bleaching, it looks stupid on guys :)

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

I'd see a hairdresser. They are used to this kind of thing and they will know what to do. Either that or hide in your house until halloween :S

I had bleach blond hair and put a semi-permanant brown on and now its gone GREEN, help please. . .?

You must have used an ash brown - that has a greenish tint to it, some peoples hair can "pull" a lot of green. You need to use a toner with a reddish orange color to cancel out the green. But it may not work because hair color doesn't usually color over top of color. You should go back to the salon - if it's green, they'll fix it for free. They may have to bleach it %26amp; then put hair color on.

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

It's sounds like you have a really tough colouring problem on your hands. For the very best results call a local hair salon and make an appointment with their lead colourist. Make sure you tell them you are setting up an appointment for "Colour Correction". Depening on the length of your hair it may cost anywhere from $85 dollars (US) to $200 dollars (US).

If you think this is something that you would like to try to correct at home (not recommended) you need to call the colour experte hotline on the back of the box you originally coloured your hair with. If you don't have the box you can go online and look it up. Once you get on the phone with a colour experte then make sure you tell him/her that you are looking to correct the problem. They can walk you through the steps to make your hair natural again.

I hope this helps!

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

SHHHH! No shouting you'll wake the children...

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

You need to go to a salon or your just going to keep dmaging your hair!

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

Color Law

Color WILL NOT LIFT color, no matter how many times you try it or what brand you use. You MAY see a SLIGHT difference if the proxide developer is hight enough (30-40) but you MUST use lightner to lift the unwanted pigment out of your hair, otherwise you are only causing damage everytime you apply it.

I would suggest you see a professional, and let them lift it out and redeposite the desired tones back in, you will be much happier with the results and your hair will be a lot healthier.

PS It's NOT DYE, it's color...DYE is for clothes.

Hope this helps

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

Baby shampoo will help the red fade faster if you don't want to color your hair again.

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

Please I asking you to allow the dye to grow out first before you apply another colour to it.Two reasons; 1.You would damage your hair cells causing it to fall out and probably never to grow back and 2.Will lead to brain damage or cancer. Your hair is your beauty and I'm sure you like to look your best when going out,so I advise that you take these simple steps.First I want you to wash your hair once a week with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, blow dry it and apply a moisturizing leave in conditioner. If you are a person that is always in the sun I suggest you use a hair cream because the sun damages your hair causing it to brittle easily. At night before going to bed brush your hair at least 100 strokes, apply a hair cream and wrap your hair.Brushing your hair stimulates your hair cells and opens your pores to allow the cream to be absorbed.Take the advice

HOW CAN I GET RED HAIR DYE OUT OF MY HAIR AS I HAVE TRIED BLOND dye AND IT IS TAKING AGES?

If you bleached your hair, there's no getting over it, you can just add color over it, if you colored your hair, try baking soda and water, in a paste, see if that helps, and I would defintely try to make an appointment. The baking soda may lift it enough, but there's no telling. Do not add color over it, otherwise, it'll mess the color up.

Right now, I have brown chunks, blonde chunks, red chunks and black chunks of short, curly hair.

In a few months, I'll be straight, medium, brown hair.

Further in winter, I'll be straight, long, black hair.

Come spring, I'll be straight, short, red hair.

I change my hair every season.

Although, I prefer redheaded women. Or brunette men (be it black or brown). Don't really care for blonde on either sex, but do find a few more blonde men attractive than I do blonde women. Length and style that I like on others all depends on the shape of the person's head and their facial features.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

First off let me say I have no intention of offending anyone by posting this, and I know it sounds awfully like Nazi propaganda (which it probably was at one point) but I know nothing about biology or genes so would like to hear an educated opinion.

My point is this; if we all evolved from dark-haired apes in to dark-skinned people living on what is now the continent of Africa, and then spread out across the globe, surely the white blond/ blue eyed people were the last to develop as their colouring would have taken the longest time to develop. So does this mean anything genetically?

As I have previously I am not racist, a facist, a Nazi or anything else of the sort but I am uneducated when it comes to matters of biology and the above argument does sort of make sense to someone with no knowledge of the subject, so I'd just like it cleared up by someone in the know.

I know nothing of science but have phrased this as PC as I could so please no comments about me being a Nazi.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

It really depends on what environment you reside in.

These days, with brick %26amp; mortar housing, air conditioning %26amp; sunblock, it doesnt make much of difference.

But the people who have lighter skin, blue eyes... etc adapted to the environments in which they migrated to, for their body to function the best it could in those conditions.

Most africans remained dark skinned, much like many of the equatorian societies, as this was more ideal for surviving the elements.

Sickel Cell Anemia, for instance only occurs in those of more rescent african descent, because certain people developed blood cells which functioned in a manner to discourage infection from malaria... but it can also have a very negative effect on the function of the human body, especially when living in an environment which does not have a malaria issue.

It's called evolution, and just because the scandinavians ended up with paler skin (from long winters, and the need to absorb as much vitamin D from the sun's rays when possible*pigment blocks some of these rays*) %26amp; blonde hair (same reason) %26amp; bigger boobs (no clue) does not mean they are superior than dark skinned Africans.

They may be better suited for Norway than Zimbabwe, but also true the other way round.

Human beings are animals... and just like different animal of the same species adapt to different environments, we do the same.

When you start putting superior on this question, you have to take into account a specific environment %26amp; survivability or even optimum bodily function.

The human race, on a whole, does not have one particular genetic design which I am aware of, that can survive most favorably in all habitable environments.

****

So, we just got to wait till the XMen come around. Cant wait

:)

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

i hope so.... :-)

i have dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes :-)

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

You may have a point there...

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

no, it makes you more likely to get cancer

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

it depends on your parents genes because certain genes are recessive and others are dominate. each gene has its own identity.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Judging from the NCAA record books, blonde-haired, blue-eyed people are genetically inferior to the rest of us.

Your premise is that those who developed blonde hair and blue eyes took longer to evolve. That's not the case. We all developed from a single common ancestor, which means we've all got the same amount of history behind us, genetically.

People of European ancestry are more resistant to AIDS, which seems to have a biological mechanism similar to the Black Plague. That's because Europeans lived in squalor with animals, and many of them were killed off in the Black Plague, with only the resistant ones remaining. Those in Africa lived in more healthful surroundings, so they didn't die off that way. Native Americans, who also lived in rather healthful surroundings, were largely wiped out by venereal diseases, smallpox and other "gifts" from the disease-ridden Europeans.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Brown eyed/haired people are less prone to sun damage to their skin and can see better in bright conditions than blue eyed people... so no.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

No and yes ...

First, I would be very reluctant to say which skin/hair/eye colouring appeared last in the general population since I have no idea about that - and I wonder if anyone has even investigated that one yet.

My main point - variations in population like skin colour etc appear as adaptations to local conditions. So blond hair %26amp; blue eyes are very likely superior for the conditions prevelant in the geographical area in which they first appeared.

*BUT* these same variations could not be 'superior' in other locations ... otherwise the same variation (or very similar) would have appeared in a number of locations around the globe.

Since populations have only recently started to be connected in the sense of mobility and social interaction we are a long way from seeing what adaptations (if any) emerge in the global population as a result of the new environment of the 21st centurary and beyond.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Genetic differences occur as a result of random mutation. Those random mutations which offer some kind of advantage will in general tend to spread through a population over generations through the process known as natural selection (for example genetically slow wildebeests will tend to get eaten by the big cats, whereas genetically fast wildebeests will survive to have baby wildebeests).

In Africa, the climate offers an advantage to those with pigmented skin/eyes, as it offers a protection against tissue damage from the sun. In colder Europe, there is no such advantage, and therefore pigmented skin is dominant in Africa but not in Europe. Unpigmented skin is dominant in Europe because it allows better absorption of Vitamin D, which is useful when you go through long winters with little sunshine.

It is therefore misleading to think that one set of genes is "superior" - it merely contains a different set of mutations.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Hardly, otherwise whence all the jokes about blondes?

The following were all dark haired:

Einstein, Bertrand Russell, Sigmund Freud, Henry Ford, Beethoven, Mozart, Martin Luther King and Gandhi to name but a few.

I don't think colouring of hair, eyes or skin comes into it at all.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

the change in hair and skin colour is an example of adaptation which caused a change in the genetic pool.In areas where heat radiation is nit that strong there the melanin secretion is less which causes lightning of hair and skin colour. There is nothing about the genetical dominancy.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Frankly, no. all colours have their advantages really. we simply adopted to our environment as we had been doing prior.

we all have genes and one strand can carry thousands of traits. we have a man and a woman. one with blonde hair, and one with brown hair. lets say the woman has blonde hair. blonde hair is recessive. which meens that only another blonde gene can complete it to become blonde.

when you get blonde hair it would be written 'bb' this is homozygous. so this meens that the bonde haired woman is bb. the man has brown hair, this is not recessive, rather it is dominant. his parents could be any colour and brown. brown is 'B' and can be written 'BB' when combined with another 'B' brown gene. but when it is combined with say a bonde gene it wuld be written 'Bb' but brown would still show because it is dominat. the only posible way for these two's kid to have blonde hair is for both parents to have a blonde gene, (which meens the woman is bb and the man would have to Bb for this to work). only then is there a chance for there to be a blonde kid. you make your judgement now whether you think this is the genetically superior trait. yes? u may want to reconsider, because, because blonde is very rare, it may as well die out in as little as 200 years! so as it may be rare,... you make your own mind up (personally i think no gene is really "superior" maybe with the exception of normal genes over so called 'mutilated genes'.) geniologist use punnet squares to work out the possibilities of a child getting a particular trait.

it is kind of drawn like this:

B b

b

b

then we fill out the middle like:

B...-...b

b Bb bb

b Bb bb

this all meens that this chiild has a 50% chance of getting brown or blonde. (the top (Bb) being the brown, and the side (bb) being the bonde!)

hope i helped ~_^

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

your answer is "no". No one is superior.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

your hair and eye colour are passed on through your mums xx chromosomes and your dads xy chromosomes. depending on the blue eyed chromosome being recessive or dominant depends on whether your other other parent is recessive or dominant. for example,

dads xy mums xx makes xx xx xy xy there is a half chance.

i just did biology at gcse

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

No, evolution doesn't work like that. We all came from a common ancestor, and are all equally evolved.

In evolution, there's no "superior" or "better" in an objective sense. There's only "more suited to a particular environment". For Africans, dark skin is more suitable because it protects them from sunlight. For Europeans, light skin is better because it increases the amount of vitamin D that can be produced.

So you can see that what's better for an organism, including a human, is dependent on the environment they find themself in. Natural selection has the effect of preserving those mutations that are advantageous in a particular environment, and weeding out those that are disadvantageous. But if an organism migrates to a different area, or the environment itself changes, then what is advantageous and disadvantageous may also change.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

No my father had blue eyes and my mother I don't and yes they are my natural parents. They're is good and bad in everybody no matter what colour.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

blondes rule!

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

According to genetics that is like comparing a red apple to a green apple to a yellow apple.

The answer is "no". 50,000 years ago our ancestors left Africa. That is approximately 2,000 generations of evolution for each person currently living on this planet. Evolving in completely different environments.

100,000 years ago, several species of hominids populated the Earth, including H. sapiens in Africa, H. erectus in Southeast Asia and China, and Neandertals in Europe.

By around 30,000 years ago, the only surviving hominid species was H. sapiens. Our ancestors.

A second wave of hominids left Africa around 45,000 years ago, reproduced rapidly, and settled in the Middle East; smaller groups went off to India and China.

Isolated by mountains and the sea for many generations, and exposed to a colder climate and less sunlight than in Africa, the Asian populations became paler over time.

Around 40,000 years ago, as the grip of the Ice Age loosened and temperatures briefly became warmer, humans moved into Central Asia. Amid the bountiful grassy steppes, they multiplied quickly.

Around 35,000 years ago, small groups left Central Asia for Europe. Cold temperatures kept them there. Cut off from other groups, these migrants became paler and shorter than their African ancestors.

From there, around 20,000 years ago, another small group of Central Asians moved farther north, into Siberia and the Arctic Circle. To minimize physical exposure to the extreme cold they developed, over many generations, stout trunks, stubby fingers, and short arms and legs.

Finally, around 15,000 years ago, as another Ice Age began to wane, one small clan of Arctic dwellers followed the reindeer herd over the Bering Strait land bridge into North America.

We are all part of the same family. We share the same ancestors. We look different but we are apples with different skin. Some have adapted to grow better in different climates.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Absoluteley not, which can be borne out by the rise in ethnic variations to higher positions in society. I think blonde/blue is just an attraction to some people.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

No.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

First of all I believe the answer to your question must be "No". The period of time for a mutation to appear has no correlation to the degree of "superiority" of the mutation. Secondly, reading some of the answers a number of people use the term "developed" as if the organism involved made a conscious decision to do something about their characteristics in order to adapt better to their environment. This is not correct but it may simple be the way that people have phrased their answer. In any population mutations will appear on a fairly regular basis. In man for example we probably throw up mutations about 1:50,000 cell divisions. Many of these are fatal and the cell simply degenerates and is never manifested. In others the mutation is expressed in the organism's phenotype (Physical makeup). In the case of those individuals who were born shorter and squatter in appearance this was an advantage when living in cold climates since their surface area/volume ratio was smaller. This meant that they lost less heat and were better able to withstand cold. Within a mixed population more of those shorter individuals would survive and therefore their percentage within the population would increase. Over many years they may become the dominant type within the population. The "Celtic" races, Scots, Irish etc. were descended from the Vikings who were of the same build and came from cold environments. If we look at warmer regions, e.g. Africa we see tall, angular individuals who are better equipped to deal with warm temperature. In addition their skin pigmentation protects them fro the Sun's rays. Skin and hair colour within populations are merely the results of natural selection over many thousands of years.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Where most people go wrong is that they assume that modern Africans are the same as the original/first homo sapeans . This is not the case . We don't even know what skin colour the first people had .

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

as the first humans originated from Africa

in Kenya i think I assume genetically superior humans originate from there

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

No, though a teacher did a research project telling blondes/blue eyed children that they were superior and then the children acted superior. When the teacher told the class a week later that she had made a mistake; that brown eye/ brown hair children were actually superior then those children acted as if they were superior.

Though there are genetic differences, the differences are not in intellengence.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

In genetic terms it simply tells us that the genes that code for skin pigmentation are not simply recessive or dominant but are in fact many genes whose combined expression will give a range of skin colours, depending upon need. As homosapiens migrated to cooler climes, children that were born with paler pigmentation would perhaps be less susceptible to Vitamin D deficiencies. Who knows. Many pale skined humans live well in the equatorial regions and many darker skined humans survive without rickets or other ill effects far North. It is a conundrum, but just like skin, a bit superficial for me!

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

No. The hair and eye colors or racial characteristics are just examples of endemicism (adaptation to local conditions).

Natural selection might have favored the development of hair and eye color in the cloudy environments they became most common in. Though I suspect sexual (mate) selection had more to do with it than anything.

Evolution is not a progressive linear transition from inferior to superior forms. If it was there would be no other life forms except the purported superior one. It is a continual reshaping of forms in response to selective factors of environment.

There is no such thing as a genetically superior organism. A form that is highly successful in one environment will fail miserably in another if the conditions that favor that form are replaced with unfavorable conditions.

I'll give a clearer example. If the ability to reproduce were determined by the ability to lift large weights people with weightlifter physiques would be more numerous than people with other builds. In an environment where sprinting determined reproductive success people with runner's builds would be more commonplace. In both instances apparent superiority would be dependent on external circumstance which, in the real world, is more complex and changeable.

Hair and eye color are the result of a very small number of genes which require only minor changes to produce. All of which could be re mutated out of existance if need be. Not some clever re-engineering that makes the organisms 'better'.

Are blond haired, blue eyed people genetically superior to other hair/ eye/ skin colours?

Superior as a whole - no. Superior (advantaged) in the cold Northern European environment that they evolved to adapt in - yes. You're correct that these were the some of the last features to have devoloped, since the environment that they developed for was one of the last settled. Though they are the latest, they may not be the greatest since they are not really superior as it only proffers an advantage in the environment it was developed in. The Caucasian race that sports these features was the most recent branch in our family tree, as they followed the retreating glaciers (global warming - oh my) and occupied Northern Europe. While the other races, which had been in place for tens of thousands of years, were already adapted to their own environments and had no need for these features. As a matter of fact these features, evolved to deal with colder environments, are actually a disadvantage/maladaption in other hotter (our original) environments. A good example is that a Caucasian in sub-Saharan Africa would be easily suceptible to sunburn, and other heat related casualties. Oddly in biological terms, these are actually specializations which , which in the long run may be a disadvantage in the hotter post-glacial world.
