If you want short styling time, go short, uniform layer cut, and use fiber to piece it out. Less time to dry than long, and easy to get "messed up" look

That's the hairstyle I have. I leave it alone and let it be long, straight, blonde, with side bangs. It doesn't get any more low maintenance than that!
