Scientifically speaking, guys favor blondes instinctively because blonde hair was once interpreted as a sign of youth, and therefore fertility back WAY back when. :)

hold on, now. blondes can be just as attractive as brunettes. blonde hair is less common, so i guess people see themselves as more exotic.

Darker hair can look really harsh and ugly on some people especially when they get older. I think that most REAL beauties actually look better with dark hair (it makes their amazing features more striking), and the simply fakers have blonde. I mean look at Brooke Shields. Gorgeous women like her rock the rich brown color. Not Brooke Hogan or Paris Hilton.
