it gets a green tint to it, especially at the ends...a Malibu takes it out

but i have to have it done every 3 weeks.

it sounds as though your hair is overlightened and porous/damaged thus having little or no natural yellow pigment... green can also be caused from cholrine or from toners or drabbing shampoos or any styling product that have pigments (most of them have some aartificial pigments added)

if the hair is healthy enough you may be able to use a chlorine removing shampoo like AloeRid... ask your colorist what they would suggest as they know what was used on your hair in the first place

Well, if you haven't been in any pools... your hairdye sucked or else your city's water has too much clorine in it.. and your hair can't handle it.

I wouldn't dye it again (blonde) for a while.

I honestly would try dying it a darker color to get the green out.

Do you swim much in a pool (with heaps of chlorine)? That could be the cause. Shampoo well after using the pool.

like everyone said chlorine, but if you havent been in any pools it could be your shower. some may have more chlorine than usual so maybe you should try a more filtering shower head. good luck!
